On-site Conflict Consultations

Are serious church conflicts damaging your church’s health and ministry effectiveness? Have the efforts of your leaders to address the conflict proved inadequate? Our consulting process is customized to address your church’s unique ministries. Through confidential onsite interviews, root causes are identified, and intervention strategies are designed to meet your specific needs.

Conflict Resolution Training

As with any worthwhile endeavor, training and practice are the most effective ways to learn and implement biblical conflict resolution strategies. We offer training and practice exercises in both onsite and remote consultation interventions. This training can be provided either in standalone applications or incorporated into all our other services.

Virtual Consultations

Sometimes, site visits are not needed or may not be immediately feasible. Our same customized consulting approach and processes can often be implemented to assess and help resolve church disagreements and conflicts remotely. When this is the case, conflict coaching of leaders is utilized with ongoing phone and virtual support.

Two or Multi-party Mediation

Mediation as illustrated in Matthew 18 is a healthy method of conflict resolution for individuals unable to resolve disagreements privately. We incorporate both two-party and multiparty mediation methodologies as needed in all our intervention formats. These sessions serve both to resolve their issues while building their individual skills along the way.

Conflict Coaching

If you are unsure about the best next steps, phone or virtual sessions often help clarify the needs and the most cost-effective ways to move forward.  These initial assessments are provided at no charge. As mentioned above, coaching is also a valuable service provided in both onsite and remote interventions.

Facilitated Group Problem Solving

When church conflict involves more than a few people, we utilize a modified mediation process that works well with groups. Often, these sessions result not only in solving the identified issues of disagreement but also serve to build unity of purpose, teamwork, and personal conflict resolution skills for the participants.
